I attended Taylor University in Upland, Indiana, where I majored in business. I committed to following Him and was discipled, and I’m grateful for the patience the Lord showed me. It was on the bus ride home that Jesus really got a hold of my heart. The summer before my senior year in high school, two of my best friends and I went to a Young Life Camp in Colorado. I trusted Christ when I was 12 years old and then strayed through most of junior high and high school. There were five of us in my family – my parents and my two sisters with me in the middle.
